Next Generation Nurses was created to equip nursing students and young nurses with the knowledge, opportunities, mentorship, and leadership skills needed to excel in healthcare and create lasting impact in their communities.

Who can join Next Generation Nurses?
NGN is open to all nursing students at any level of study, as well as qualified nurses and healthcare professionals across Africa.
Is membership free?
Yes — joining NGN is completely free. We believe access to mentorship and professional development should not be a financial barrier.
How does the mentorship programme work?
After joining, members are matched with experienced nursing professionals based on their goals and areas of interest. Sessions are conducted virtually and tailored to each mentee's needs.
Is NGN only for nurses in Nigeria?
No. While NGN was founded in Nigeria, our community is pan-African. We welcome nursing students and professionals from across the continent and from the African diaspora.
What research support does NGN offer?
NGN supports members with research topic development, academic writing guidance, and access to a collaboration network of fellow researchers and experienced nurse academics.
How can I become a mentor with NGN?
